Hey Matt, glad you enjoyed the game. Would you be able to let me know what screen resolution you are using? I think the issue is with UI scaling and the clickable part of the button not being in the same location as the visual.
I responded with the resolution on the Ludum Dare site (I’m Tattomoosa), I don’t remember off the top of my head but it’s an ultrawide monitor. I think you’re probably right about the cause of the issue

Nice game! I had an issue in full-screen mode where I could only select the middle upgrade, but the UI worked fine in the small player
